Need Help. Oil Pan Question.

Default Need Help. Oil Pan Question.

I bought a 1jz with a Front sump oil pan. Someone on here said I could swap out my GE oil pan without tapping.... Anyone know of this?

Link, info, comments.... Need help ASAP

You'll need to take the GE upper and lower pan along with the oil pick up and put them on the 1jz. Also you have to tap the GE upper pan and drill the hole out for the oil return for the turbos.

All GE oil pans have the imprints on them for tapping and drilling. If you're afraid of doing it, find someone who can and have them do it.

i found it quite easy just need a big drill bit to match that hole, and drill the 2 holes almost as big as the 1jz flange bolt holes and tap them but dont drill those 2 holes all the way through. would also recommend using a tq wrench when you get to the part of tq down the #1 oil pan ( the bigger one or upper one) gonna need black RTV

Any1 have pictures of someone doing this? It would help me tons. Still trying to figure out what oil line to use once it's tapped out?
