15PSI -- Stock 1JZ versus 2JZ
i dont knwo where but ive seen people 2 diffrent videos of guys swapped both of them 2jzgte and both pushed 276whp and 270lb of torquw.. not at the crank and they were stock. im preety sure its not at the crank but at the rear wheels
Ive been running at 15 psi for the last year and Ive been fine. mods are as follows:
Greddy Profec b spec 2, 4" mid to 3" duals, HKS pod filer other wise stock intake, FMIC, AC delete, clutch fan delete, Drift motion pulleys,NGK BKR7e plugs tunned on a very conservative tune on AEM EMS and last time i was on the dyno i did 378hp 379TQ.

3.0 liters of displacement versus 2.5..obvious answer which motor will make more torque at any psi.
The 1jz has a shorter stroke so it has capability to rev faster, than the 2jz.
That's all, I believe it has on the 2jz, and it's slightly cheaper to swap in.
Most people searching for big power go for the 2jz because as you install bigger and bigger turbos, they become harder to spool, even for the 3.0 motor. It would be even harder for the 2.5 to spool an equal size turbo.

I never got my stock twins dyno'd but I remember pulling away from my buddy's 03 vette on the highway at 13lbs with fmic and dp and exhaust. five mins before that he laughed at the idea of racing me saying it would be a waste of his gas. lol!
Yo, I ran a dude in a "worked" white '05/06 645i on the pike the other day...only b/c he had this WTF
SO we ran about 3 more times b4 he got the picture and drove off with the
look on his face. The "L" on the back is so u see what place you're comin in, LOSER.
Isn't a 645 like a mortgage payment too!!?!!!?!!
