Default what you paid for manual conversion

I was wondering what you guys have spent on a full manual conversion for both w58 or r154 tranny. I'm might be getting a sc with a 1jz w/auto and I think the solenoids are bad, I was just curious to see if a tranny swap would be worth it or if I should just fix the auto.

You could get w58 parts for about 1000 and prolly 400 to install it.

i recently sold my full r154 manual set up for about $2k but that's w/ new flywheel, upgraded clutch (to handle at least 600rwhp) with less than 1.5k miles, pedals, lines, driveshaft, etc. that's parts alone, no labor.

r154- built Marlin Crawler will run you $1200. Then you need the bellhousing $300, clutch and flywheel- you source that 1- you can use the 6 speed stuff for that.
W58- $600 for the tranny, pedals, slave, etc from a junkyard. $350 for clutch and give it your best shot to get the salvage guy to hook you up with the flywheel- it worked like a charm for me. But if you're going to put any real power down- skip the w58.

Hmm here is my quick list:
r154: 200.00
Light weight Flywheel: 250.00
Bellhousing: 300.00
Clutch:350.00
1pc driveshaft w/ adapter plate:600.00
Slave cylinder: 40.00

Umm that's just the parts... I guess if you drop the driveshaft it's not a bad price. My car was already a 5 speed though.
