I have created a Toyota Soarer 1UZ-FE SAFC 2 Install and Settings .doc for people wanting to install an APEXI SAFC2 into their Soarer

post it up here so it can be beneficial to other members. Don't forget that 96+ sc400's use hotwire MAF sensors instead of karman.

Can I ask a general question? Is tuning safe doing by yourself? With Safc and a wideband.

If you're smart about it, then it is completely safe. That's what I've been doing so far.

I'm also making sure the engine internals are fine through ecu/engine diagnostics (one thing OBDII is good for)

I would post for everyone to see but the .doc is 755Kb because it has pics of the screen shots of the SAFC 2.

My settings are when running 95 RON and 98 RON

I only changed settings a little till summer comes around. Then i will spend a day (30 degrees +) on the dyno tuning it.
