So my indicator lit up so I replaced both tailight bulbs (come in pairs) and they worked fine. But when I turn on my headlights, everything works fine but the indicator still lights up. Does anyone think pulling the battery would work?

You might have the wrong 3rd brake light / lamp failure module combo. The module is different depending on whether the car came with the 3rd brake light in the spoiler or on the parcel shelf. The dash warning light will come on when you first hit the brakes if you have the wrong combo.

i received the car with no spoiler brake light and just the normal non brake light speaker cover, when i went to install said speaker cover that has the brake light i could'nt find the plug in for it anywhere so i am still stumped on it. Do all of our cars support the interior brake light?

That I'm not sure. Non-spoiler cars have the spoiler wiring wrapped up above the right trunk arm, but I'm unaware of whether the opposite holds true. The parcel shelf wiring should be pretty obvious if it's there, being part of the subwoofer bundle.

No spoiler brake light and no parcel shelf brake light...so, the car came without a 3rd brake light? It seems less likely that someone sourced a non-brake subwoofer cover to delete the parcel shelf brake light than it is they went with a wingless trunk and didn't think to add in the interior light.

So pretty much its a 99 with the full body kit including the small spoiler that doesnt have the brake light. Tomorrow ima take another feel behind the sub.

I thought that the 97+ all have the 3rd brake light in the spoiler. Perhaps a previous owner swapped the 99 wing to a 95-96. Pull back the trunk lining on the lid and see if you have a wiring running up the right-middle of it.

I've never heard of a stock spoiler without the brake light. Is it an aftermarket body kit?

the car does have the wiring running up the right middle of the trunk ,i have a spoiler that does have a brake light off of a 97, ima swap them tommorow and see. the one on there now is the little 96 tail/spoiler but it seems to have been sealed and painter over where the third light is lol. I also assume the reason i dont have the wiring for the subwoofer light is because i have that trunk wiring?

Well, given the handful of oddities you've got with your 3rd brake light(s), we can safely assume that's the source of your mystery dash warning light.

Not necessarily. All cars have the trunk wiring, but I'm unsure whether a car originally equipped with the spoiler has the parcel shelf wiring.

You have the wrong bulb In one of them if the resistance is off at all it will pop on... any front corner marker, tail lights, brake lights, plate lights or 3rd brake light if any are them wrong part number they may even look the same you can just walk in and grab the wrong one of your not careful so all your lights will work but the inductor will be on
