My car doesn't idle. idea guys?

Default My car doesn't idle. idea guys?

i just had a tune up and everything runs fine for ca few day. now when i turn on the car, it go staight to 0 rpm and engine stop. any ideas???

try disconnecting your battery for a minute or two to reset your ECU. should not have to do that and if that is it, it could indicate a much larger problem but that may get you running.

see if your MAF sensor is clipped in tightly.

i just changed my iac valve, that was the problem for me.

check for loose connections to the maf plug and plugs on the throttle body, maybe one just came loose cause it wasnt clipped all the way in

idle, has too do with throttle body. or any vac hose loose may interfere with loss iidle

It took me so long to figure that out on my '90 dodge pickup. had it worked on and the guy put the wrong size vacuum hose on. when the engine got warm the hose expanded and lost pressure. pissed me off so bad

my guy said he changed all the vacuum hoes for me. but it does seems kinda loose. the car start now for some reason, but 2 mins later the engine light turns on. idle still kinda got crappy. wut yall think??
