And what with the oil temperature - it is not known. Therefore it was necessary to monitor the temperature of the oil in my 2JZ-GE engine.
In the price of products an English firm «MOCAL» I found the device in the form of washers between the engine block and oil filter with two outlets for oil, which is built thermostat is set at 80 º C. In this instrument for my purposes is not enough just to set the connections to it oil temperature sensor. This device was very good for my 2JZ-GE machine, provided that I can build a nest for installing oil temperature sensor. I bought a set of «MOCAL». It was made of cast aluminum alloy. I was able to choke welded duralumin for screwing it into the oil temperature sensor. So we got a washer «MOCAL» thermostat and a jack for the installation of the oil temperature sensor.
Now, the entire package was in the collection, it was fit assembled, installed, maintained and configured.
Monitoring the temperature of the oil engine 2JZ-GE to the Lexus SC 300 - has begun.
Visits showed that, when the external temperature of -3 º C to +15 º C engine oil temperature reaches 96 º - 105 º C. Now you have to deal with the installation of the intermediate cooler (radiator), which will ensure the stability of the temperature of engine oil in the range of 85 º - 95 º C.
