I have a 1993 sc300 5spd, and was wondering if its possible and/or how hard it is to swap a v8 from the 400 with the i6? Would it just involve adjusting the transmission? I have seen the manual swap done on a sc400. I can't really do any of the work myself so are there many or any shops that can do this?

Yep. Or just do yourself the favor now and sell the 300 and buy a 400 and Look at RedPhoenix's manual swap thread.
