Still running good... put about 1500 miles on since the swap and everything is A-ok!

You dah man! I've been considering this option all along and thanks for this writeup. It's more like an encouraging thread to me. How much $ did you spend on the complete setup? And how long did it take you to finish this great project?

About $1600-$1800ish... I started collecting parts last August (transmission first to get my butt in gear), and it took collectively about 24hrs or less to install it and make it perfect.

I'm positive that you have researched about the handling capacity of this W58 tranny. Do you think if it can handle more than 400 rwhp and rwtq reliably?

Plenty of people do. It really depends on how much you beat on the transmission. W58... R154... V160.. etc will fail on stock power if you beat the living hell out of it.

Honestly, if I don't intentionally try and beat on the transmission, it will be good to me.

My goal is around 400whp with this transmission... all I want on it.

If one were to want a full face organic clutch disc with a stock pressure plate, where would he have to look?

I took the pictures also so yeah I get credit on those. I did the installation also 3 people did the install one helped for the machining part.

SO Matt you gonna credit my photos at the beginning of this thread or what?.....
