Hey guys, I recently Installed a turbo kit onto my car, a 95 sc300 2jz-ge 140k). Everything was running great, just waiting for a dyno tune. So i wanted to clean my MAF, so i took it out and cleaned it, now the car wont start.

I searched, and i just wanted a second opinion....

What do you thing it is?????

How did you clean your maf? They are known to be sensitive to different methods of cleaning.

I used the CRC MAF cleaner from a local auto parts store.

I am not positive, but I believe your 95 sc300 has an air flow meter. If so, using that crc maf cleaner has been known to damage it. Here are some links from the maintenance section:

Thanks for the help...
I got a MAF for $75, and the car started...
But now its still acting like it wants to shut off...

What do you think????

What sort of engine management are you running, i cleaned my MAF with CRC 4 times in the past year and its fine, something else is up.
