SC300+Aristo+SAFC made easy

Well I went to put my safc into my sc300 with an aristo swap and it was sort of a pain in the butt, I had trouble finding good wiring pinouts and had to search many different sites to find answers so I figured I would try to make a short cliff note for anyone who is looking or does a search here on the site so here goes.

Red wire:(12 volts) pin 31 in the E10 plug(single plug without bolt in middle)
Green wire:(rpm) pin 58 in the E9 connector
Grey wire:(tps) pin 43 in the E9 connector
Brown and black wires: pin 69 in the E9 connector(brown wire closer to ecu)
Yellow and white: cut wire at pin 62 connect the yellow to the remainder closer to the ecu and the white wire on the remainder going to the engine bay.

all other wires are just tapped in for signal reference.

as with the JDM motor make sure you select "pressure" type sensor and you are on your way.

here is the pinout link for future reference as well

Thanks for the useful info. I'll definitely keep it in mind. I just picked up an Aristo GTE for an SC3 and will be using an SAFC. Subscribed!

no problem, i used as many words as I could for the search feature so it will be easier for all of us to find in the future.

^is that pin out for the JDM Supra GTE or Aristo GTE ?

they are the same for SAFC- the JDM JZA80 (supra tt) and JZS147 (aristo) can exchange ecu's between each other plug and play.

where did you plumb the illumination orange into?

I havent yet, its just kinda sitting in the loom but i was gonna pin it to use the light switch relay on the column just like a radio would

An illumination switch can be spliced into any 12v ignition source I would think. It would probably be better to not let it interfere with anything in the engine harness.

i have a question. what if you have a BCC installed, you use the same 62 wire that you hook up the safc to. what side would you keep your bcc hooked up to? the ECU side or the sensor side?

Just bridge the BCC between the SAFC and the ECU at the pressure signal wire (Pin 62).
Make sure the white (BCC) goes towards the SAFC out and the green (BCC) goes towards the ECU. That`s the polarity flow of the BCC.
