Alternator/Battery car issue? Weekend car
Hey guys,
My SC400 is a weekend only car and I always disconnect a terminal off the battery when I don't use it because leaving it on just drains the battery and I'll have to get it recharged (I'm guessing the alternator drains it) but my issue is that is it possible that when I connect the battery back to the Terminal, that the Alternator is fully drained??? Because after connected the battery, started my car, I took a drive and my car just DIED OUT and showed the Battery Icon on the dash. So I just put it in park and started up and it started fine. I had to do a couple of Wide Open Throttle pulls and then my car ran perfectly fine. Any ideas if this could be the reason my car dies out? I only drive it on the weekends so it gets drained in that week if i leave the battery on.
