You shouldn't be out of fuel at 16psi on 62mm turbo. I've tuned a bunch of cars with similar setups and was able to make at least 500whp on stock fuel/stock injectors on pump gas. Something I'm missing in your setup perhaps?
I was thinking the same thing but I hit max boost close to 18psi on the streets so it's definately more than 433 and afr's are still decent at max boost. I will be doing fuel upgrade in a couple weeks so I'll get to see some better numbers on paper lol.

It still seems quite a bit off for stock fuel. I would make sure that you're getting good, consistent, voltage from your fuel pump, as you seem to be about 60+whp low. Was this on a Dynojet? Who was the tuner? Just curious...

It's a dynojet and tuned by Brad Brooks.I have to double check on the fuel pump voltage etc..

Yeah, you need to be WOT and watch the voltage output on the pump. If it starts to drop, then there's your problem. Did you bypass the fuel pump ecu? Oh, and what about the fuel pulsation dampener? Is that bypassed as well? All of these will limit you severely.

I will have to check into all that, I wasn't there when they did the dyno and I don't remember if the fuel pump ecu was bypassed. Thanks for the heads up.

I'd like to know more about the pulsation dampener. . .
i thought that was a 2jz thing, but want to make sure I don't have one.

If there's one of the SC300, it's part of the fuel lines themselves, correct? and please say they are on the feed line and not the return. . .

Well, he's running a USDM GTE motor, so he would have one in there. Some people have found it to free up some fuel, while some people say it didn't matter. Either way, 16psi and 430whp on a 62mm turbo is just not right. That car shouldn't be out of fuel with it being AEM equipped. I ran a 67mm turbo with AEM, on stock fuel, all the way to 540whp on pump gas. I think he might be seeing a voltage drop on his pump as pressure increases, so a fuel pump rewire may be in order. We'll see though.

Car made 433rwhp@16psi at 95% duty cycle on pump gas. Torque was close to 400 I think, I'm waiting on graph from ISP. I was hoping to push it to 500rwhp but was out of fuel. I'm ok with the results for now, my goal was only 500rwhp for now. Will focus my attention on the interior etc. Car pulls very smooth. I will do fuel upgrades soon so I can turn up boost some more so I can play around with a certain other white SC in the area lol.
433 @ 16 psi is pretty good for that size turbo..I have faith that you'll figure out the fuel sortly..... good luck

at what rpm did you get full boost at 16psi? and was the turbo wanting to spool up more like on some?

Brad's one of the best tuners in the area IMO. Are you on stand alone?

yeah, got the aem ems installed, running on the basemap I can kind of drive the car.
I set up o2 feedback with my aem wideband so I am hoping to be able to get to the shop without blowing up anything.
