Default 92 SC300 CEL - #17 (w/o OBD2) need help

so i checked the trouble code using jumeper wire connecting terminals TE1 and E1.
and i get the code #17.
checked it, and it comes out to be CMP No.1, Camshaft Position Sensor
i've searched posts and checked other forums online here and there and found out that
there could be something wrong with the sensor itself,
wire of the sensor, or the ECU.

-the CEL came on after a truck driver back'd into my sc300 other day and
the insurance does not cover it due to the car being old. they say...
they will cover the body damage but not the CEL itself.

so i need help fellas. i want to change the sensor myself (hopefully its just the sensor), but i have no idea
where its located... any pic's and DIY would be great. thanks in advance.
