A 1jzgte swap in a 92 sc400 and whats needed?
I have a 1992 sc400 and I'll be getting it back from the autobody shop soon they are installing a body kit and new paint. At first I was going to supercharge my sc400 but now I think I want to go with a 1jzgte swap but I need some help before I get to deep ,can anyone provide me with a parts list of whats needed to do a complete swap into a 92 sc400, thanks.

It's not a stupid question, though. It's a question that hundreds of people already have asked and hundreds of threads already exist.
People don't assume you're stupid for asking it, they assume you're lazy.

Ryanv is doing one:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/per...pic-heavy.html
if u want to go auto to manual you will need:
5 speed.
Flywheel and bolts off of the 5 speed car
lower "wing" tranny mounts that bolt to engine (they are different)
Inspection cover between tranny and engine
Driveshaft from 5speed
Pedal Assemblies
Master Cylinder

I would suggest doing alot of research before you actually buy the motor and attempt the swap. I'll tell you right now, not all 1JZ motors are the same. Im actually getting into this project myself. Im getting all my info from like 3 different forums.
