I have an extra 2jz-ge and auto trans out of a 95 GS300, and had a few questions about it...are all the engine accesorys (ac compressor, alternator, intake manifold, distributor...etc, all the same as whats in my 92 SC300? Will any of it interchange?

What about the tranny? Is it the same, and if not, can it still be used?


What can I for sure NOT use, and should put on Ebay/Craiglist?

Surely someone here knows if any of this stuff will interchange....

I'd really like to know about the intake manifold, valve covers etc because I can be doing some polishing work in my spare time if they're the same as the SC300's parts.

most of the stuff will be interchangeable. i cant comment for the oil pans but the covers and just about all sensors will be same.

as i said before(other then the pan), you should be able to put a sc300 harness on the gs300 motor and throw it in. they are nearly identical.

alternator might be dfferent. look at both and make sure they have the same style plug. the early sc had a round plug, later ones had an oval plug. i think most gs300 had an oval plug too.

use the search button and limit the search to the 1gs forums. see what transmission they used. im sure it was the same a430e but not sure if the internals were same, ie the valve body, and just how it shifted in general.
