Default SC300 MT Driveshaft Woes - Mod the auto one?

Coming down to the wire with my SC400 W58 swap however... I cannot find an SC300 MT driveshaft to save my life, unless it was out of my price range.

How many people have modded the auto one by bringing it to a shop to have it extended to fit in the 5sp tranny? Basically what Im wondering if this is a cost justified way to do it and if so... how much do I have to lengthen it by?

A friend has had a big truck place re-do his driveshaft a few times for different transmissions in his Camaro and it wasn't terribly expensive, and has held up great.

Yeah I am having a hard time getting a quote lol, but seems like my only viable solution unless a driveshaft pops up for like $100.
