GTE Auto with SC400 Driveshaft...AM I being slow???

Guys -

I was test fitting everything this weekend as I am waiting to finish my harness. I could not get any of the SC400 couplers to align with the 3 hole flange on the end of the tranny. Am I being slow. I rotated the coupler a couple times to see if the spacing was different (even though I did not think it was) I have 3 total pieces. One is the back half, then the front half and then an extra coupler. I could not get the holes to match up...and no i did not put one screw in and tighten it down. I tried to put one screw in and the other holes are completely off.

thoughts or pictures. I am going to look at it after the gym tonight but just wanted to post something.

You have a stock or GTE rear end too?

stock rear.

What I am referring to though is the flange on the transmission itslef. I am trying to bolt the coupler to it and from the reading I am supposed to use the xtra sc400 coupler.

I remember I had to swap the rear diff flange. That's a aside from using SC4 couplers.

Are you using an Aristo or USDM auto?

is this when you tell me that I have to take that flange off the end of the transmission and swap it with a sc400 flange from the end of the tranny??
