Default Anyone ever install a cardone Window motor?

Hey guys i was replacing my driver regulator and decided to also order a rebuilt Cardone window motor model No. 47-1177, and for whatever reason i got a similar looking motor with a "general connector", so i spliced my wiring in and it even closely resembled the OEM motor however once installed this new motor proceeded to rip my tints off and dig into my window itself. The newer motor is BARELY scratching my window now, its needs 1/4 of an inch more to fit as snugly as the OEM. has anyone else encountered this problem? I was planning on grinding it down and hacking it up to fit but i believe i may just send it back and buy a used motor. Any thoughts? also has anyone heard of this model in particular not fitting in our cars? Some pics below and i will try to get a nice comparison of the two side by side later this week.

Also worth noting that even just after hooking this motor after 2 minutes caused it to be extremely hot to the touch.

I've never heard of it before or used one of their remanufactured window motors before but I think A-1 Cardone needs to know about this. SC/Soarer window regulators seem to be easier/cheaper to source than brand new window motors.
