Default Fastest 60ft times in an SC.....?

Just curious to hear some low 60ft times with an SC 300 / 400 on stock parts. Trans, axles, driveshaft, ect.... In my case I do have Supra struts and springs. Has anyone broken anything?

I was planning on running the 1/4 mile at one of the "local" tracks this past Saturday but it didn't work out due to rain and freezing temperatures. This coming Sunday I have a couple of options which are a bit further away but still not too bad.

Anyway, I now have a set of Hoosier DOT slicks. I've been worrying a little about how the drivetrain / suspension will handle it. I've had 60fts as low as 1.793 on my street tires and I'm hoping to get some 1.5's - 1.6's with the Hoosiers. I would really hate to have something break on me 2-3 hours away from home.....

Should I be worried? Or, should I just man up and go for it!?!?

Thanks for any input.

KC

I actually have considered this, I got an offer from them in the mail just last week.

Not a bad idea.

Don't know. V8 torque! 275's! I have not found lowering tire pressure to help at all. Usually still spins and slows the trap speed from dragging flat tires down the track.

That is the lowest I've ever done. I have had a handful of low 1.8 times as well. Mostly I average around 1.85ish to low 1.9's though.

Where are you in Georgia? I am considering driving down to Carolina Dragway in Aiken, SC on Sunday.

Hmmmm 295's. Drool. I would think the 19's would be harder to spin....

It should be noted that I usually launch at about 1200rpm or so on my 2800rpm convertor. It's a very fine line between a good launch and spinning 2-300 feet down the track.
