Default Burnt clutch, replacing it, what do i need?

Mods dont move this to performance, this isnt performance its maintenance.

My car has 130k miles and still has the original transmission. It's slipping now and i can smell the burn.

I'm going to buy a Centerforce Dual Friction clutch and pressure plate. A local shop is charging me 200 for labor only.

My question is: Do i need to buy anything else besides the clutch and pressure plate?

a throw out bearing. Always needs to be replaced when doing clutch work.

most aftermarket clutches come with a throwout bearing.

200 is a good price for a clutch replacement or you could try it yourself and save yourself some cheddar. Around here its close to 500 for replacing the clutch so I ended up doing it myself since Im cheap. But for 200 go ahead and pay them.

200 is a DAMN good deal for a shop putting a clutch in.

Def. do a throw out bearing, Centerforce probably includes one, but if not, you can buy one from Lexus, or go aftermarket *shrug* It's not a performance part, just something that should be done.
