Get a block tester. No guess work. Thats what I did.

Here is what it looks like. You can get it at any local napa. Also you need the test fluid not pictured.

This is what will tell you whether or not you have exhaust in your coolant...

Most likely if you do you have a BHG. Sometimes the head or block at the exhaust ports is cracked. Good Luck!!!

Theres a couple of things you could do to test if you have a bhg. Check if theres oil in coolant. Or coolant in oil. Bubbles on dip stick when checking oil. Compression test. White smoke out of your tail pipes.

Well I just checked the oil and there was no bubbles, the only white smoke I get from my exhaust.....well its not really smoke, but is on cold morning you can see exhaust. I have not done a compression test yest because I really dont want to go back and take the TB off AGAIN

Best way to be sure is to do a compression test.

Block testing will tell you also, but you don't have to take off your intake.

Ok guys I FOUND THE LEAK...........well sorta. After posting this I decided to go outside and REALLY go through everything and I let the car warm up.......then I see it, there is coolant coming from the circled part in the picture. What part is this? Just a note this is not my car, I found it on here awhile ago, so thank you to the owner lol. I'm learning to use my DSL'ers

I was afraid you were going to say that . THe odd thing is it look like the coolant is coming from behind a screw. Would coolant leak from this and isnt the water valve here as well?

do a search as someone has done a write up on this very thing (iirc, it was O. L. T. but don't quote me on that)

and not sure what the water valve is but my HCV leaks as well (actually from a hose going to it).

I'm just afraid that it is going to ruin other areas.....I mean it is a pretty good leak, it drains my reservoir in just a few days.

Then probably a good idea to replace it asap. Thankfully not a real hard job to do.

Make sure its from the heater valve not the hoses going into and out of it. What you could do for now is by pass the heater. Connect the 2 hose on the motor for the heater together until you can replace the valve.
