Default CEL code P0500 VSS

I have a code P0500, it said something about my secondary VSS or something. Does anyone know for sure which sensor this is so I know which to order?

I believe there are speed sensors on each "tire", but those are for either ABS, or Traction control. Other than those, the VSS that controls your odometer and and speedometer is the one in the trans, at the tailshaft.

Wow I don't even remember now. That was almost 5 years ago lol. I do know that I do not have any check engine lights anymore but man I honestly can't remember what I did to get rid of it. I know I didn't do anything in the suspension/brake/wheel area so if anything was replaced it was probably the other option. I also know I replaced my speedometer at one point. Maybe that fixed it.

Dammit boobstar! Jk. My car is a 98 so the speed is sensed through the abs system i believe and not the transmission. My speedo works as well.
