It seems like it wants to die, and when I give it gas it dies when I let off. Everytime I rev it trying to get the water to circulate.. The oil temp guage skyrockets. Literally the second I give it gas it starts to shoot up.
The fan is on and is the heater. There is no hot air going through the vents.
I'm thinking it has to be the pump. Can the GE pumps be used with GTE motors?
Oh and I would like to take you up on that offer sir if GE pumps are not compatible. How much, and also what part of the assembly do you have? Just the impeller part?

Man, I just realized how many times my engine is overheating trying to get coolan to circulate.
I am really paranoid about getting a BHG. How often do these engines get it?
Should I go ahead and replace it now since i am trying to replace the water pump?
Basically since last thursday, I have been running the car multiple times per day trying to fix the overheating problem. I know that having exhaust in your coolant, Seening white smoke and such are ways to tell if you have a BHG. The problem is, my coolant isn't circulating.

Ok, waiting for a new water pump to come in. I know this might be a stupid question, but which heater hose goes to which entry nipple?
There is one that is directly behind the head, and another one closer to the passenger side.
Which one goes to the heater vsv, and which one goes towards the cabin?

I took off the old water pump. It looked great... There was no looseness. The blades looked in great shape. I put it back in puzzled.
So I got a prestone flush kit. Installed it ran my garden hose through it and went through the procecure of literally filling every nook and cranny with water and let it over flow to the ground cleaning up some of the "stuff" that was in the engine while it was running... Turned off the hose after only clean water was going through.
It started over heating!!! Checked the upper radiator hose. It was not full! Infact it was empty and full of air. So there is a big *** leak somewhere, but not externally.
Now I am ****ting my pants about a BHG... But no steam coming from the exhaust... I think I will pull my oil out tomorrow and do a pressure test..
God I feel like I am just screwing this motor to hell
