New track update w/ t66....not good!
I was running a 60mm turbo and managed a best of 12.1 @ 114 26psi w/ the old SAFCII/safc setup (stock computer) with meth injection.
Now I've installed the AEM EMS 1101 and a t66.
before I get started whining about my car. I was wondering what you all non meth injected NA-T guys are running for timing? I have a 2.5mm HG. And maxed out at 18* and 14lbs of boost? Is this considered low timing? I know the factory ECU was pushing 25 or so, but since I had no meth injection at the time I was trying to not blow things up.
I am waiting on the meth injection nozzles at the moment so I though I'd go run the car with no alcohol injection and see how it does.
Results..... It's a PIG!
Running 14psi 18* timing best time of the day was a 14.0 @98. I thought the 6mm increase in turbo size would have made up for the lower boost. But I was wrong! I can't figure why anyone would run of of these cars without meth injection. It really is night and day!
And to be fair I had street radial tires this time and drag radials on my 12 sec runs. The 14.0 run would have been in the 13's with a decent pair of tires.

Just a little update. CAr ran like crap because the tranny was slipping. Pulled it to find out it wasn't a BL tranny at all but a stocker with a stock re-stalled converter. OHWELL! Ordered my new BL trans last week should be here by the end of the week!
