Default Could any of this be the ECU?

In doing some research on tranny issues I came across some info that made me start wondering if alot of my issues are ECU related, what do you think of the following issues:

1. Idle fluctuated from 500 rpm to around 300. When I turn the head lights on it goes from 500 to 400 and when I put the car into gear is will go as low as 300 and sometimes a bit lower. Once I shut off the light the RPMS go up a bit, but when it goes into gear the RPMS still drop.

2. Transmission shifts high, but does not seem to slip. From a dead stop it seems to start in 2nd gear instead of 1st. When I step on the gas hard it does not shift from 3rd to 4th until about 4k rpm.

3. Sluggish acceleration

So do you think any of this could be my ECU.

Any ideas what could be causing the idle problems then?

1. Check for vaccum leaks. Crack vaccum hose, crack manifold gaskets, crack throttle body gasket. Adjust your idle by moving the TPS sensor on your throttle body. I believe its somewhere in the 800-900 range for idle.

2. Check your transmission fluid levels.

3. Could be caused by your #2

No ECU won't affect these problems.
