Started my 1J swap today kinda! haha
Went up to Nelsons after work and starting to work on the motor. Inspected some stuff, need to get some spark plugs for sure, haha.
Anyways, got the auto tranny off the motor, then decided to call it a night because Nelson had homework.
Tomorrow hopefully start getting the 2J unplugged and ready to come out of the car.
Things I need:
Serp. belt
MT90 tranny fluid
spark plugs
coolant
pwr steering fluid
etc.
Things I have:
XTD Stage 3 clutch
HKS F-Con VPro
Intake
TurboXS manual boost controller
Pending purchase on straight 3in. exhaust with 2 polished large tips (blast pipes style)
Uhhhhhh that's it for today!

Today's progress:
Got the whole front end off. Lexus totally over-engineers their ****, lol...took forever, but got the front bumper, both headlights/high beams, fan shroud, belly pan, condensor shroud, and misc. other front end pieces off. Front end is bare now. Also, removed/disconnected several electric connectors from the engine. And removed intake assembly.
Not too bad for 3 hours of work. Tomorrow probably drain the radiator and take it out, and maybe get exhaust off, keep disconnecting electrical gear, etc.
Progress pictures are being taken, but are on Nick's camera, so whenever he feels like posting them is when they'll show up
