Gauge recalibration
Okay here is my dilemma.
I swapped my gauge cluster with one from a 1995 SC400 (I have a 92 SC300).
The only thing that was done to the clusters was the removal of the circuit board to get to the odometer.
Everything seems to be okay. The temp gauge is like a millimeter lower than usual but still heats up to normal area.
The gas guage seems to be okay. I filled up and then set the needle on full and it is starting to move.
The big problem is my tach.
at 55 MPH it reads in between 3-4K. If you floor it in any gear it goes past the readable area of the tach (Presumably 9,000 RPM).
How can THIS be calibrated.
The speedo is only off by 4-5 MPH due to me running larger rims, but it was that way before anyway. (At 55 you are going 60 according to GPS.
The tach rests at 0 with the car off, along with the speedo at 0 and the other gauges in proper set.
