Default Some help with an Auto tranny swap

I know that someone on here can help me out with this.

Since my Auto tranny is on its way out I know I'm going to have to replace it sooner or later, but honestly I really dont want to pay a shop close to a grand to swap it for me..........I really think I could do it on my own with some good instructions and help from here.

I guess my questions are as follows:

Does anyone have any pointers?

I will be doing this in my drive way, what should I expect?

How much does the A340E weigh?

What else should I look into replacing once the tranny is out?

This is a 97 SC300 Auto with 175,000 miles
