Default Source for Garrett GT35R turbo

So i've begun poking around in preparation for my divorce. I'm going single biatches. There are a number of sources for turbos and I'm trying to figure what is the best source for a quality part and great customer service.

A couple of sources include ATP Turbo and Precision. Do you recommend either? Is there another source for Garretts that you recommend and why?

ATP Turbo was very helpful on the phone. I enjoyed talking with the tech.

have you considered the xspower gt35r?

it's 612 shipped, and can hold decent power, armyastro got 465whp out of one.

longevity's fine, as well.

I will never throw an XSpower anything in my car. I don't mind spending the extra money to get the real thing. Thanks anyways.

I don't wanna turn this into a debate, but if you're going value for money, you can't beat them, not by a long shot. I know you must have your reasons, and their past hasn't exactly been squeaky clean. I've just had many great firsthand experiences with their products.

I hope you find your dream setup, i know it'll be nice and clean.

Haven't really researched the BW line but am open to options. Is there a dual ball bearing quick spooling BW turbo comparable to the GT35R? For my needs, it was perfect. Any benefit with Borg-Warner over Garrett?

Fast spool and great reliability are my concerns. I don't mind paying a premium for this. The ATP GT35R with T04 housing is about $1400 bucks. I need a T4/T04 for the Drewgo manifold.

I just talked to David at Bullseye Power about the BW line. Impressive. I'm definitely going to research their line.

For the 500whp goal, he mentioned the S362 turbo, .88AR, 67 trim. Basically, the smallest T4 they offer with good efficiency and high flow. From his description, the reliability was much better than what he saw with Garrett. Interesting.

I am also looking at BW S362 or 366. I heard good things about them considering, they do very well in the trucking arena. My Goals are in the 350-450 area for hp. I have to contact Drewgo again about a manifold.

I like the BW turbos but the 362 is one of my least favorite ones. It feels lazy to me and doesn't have the power advantage alot of BW's have over Garrett. That said, they are burly turbos with great reliability, and great prices.

You still won't get the transient response of the 35r though, that's a fact.

Is there a better "equivalent" from BW to the GT35R? My research shows it's the closest in terms of compressor maps and hp.
