Zex on SC3?
I have seen and read the threads about different no2 kits, but anyone have any experience with a Zex wet kit on an SC3? I know turbo would be the way to go, but I tend to be a cheap *** sometimes, and would like to keep the reliability of N/A.
any tips for this would be great..

I was headed in your direction before, but ended up going the na-t route instead. Zex is probably the best kit out there that's safe and reliable to use, because it utilizes a nitrous management box that determines the exact about of nitrous and fuel to inject into your motor. Therefore, you won't have to run into a situation where one or both of your nitrous solenoids become stuck open, like most NOS/NX kits do. Now the drawback is you'll only be able to run up to 100 shots of nitrous on your stock GE motor. Although, many people have been successful with over 100 shots, you're still pretty much gambling at that range. It's your call though bro. I personally think the most reliable amount to run is a 75 shot. But in any case, say you run 100 shots, that would be equivalent to approx. 100 additional hp. And say your GE motor is in perfect condition at exactly at 225hp crank, if you're lucky, that will leave you at roughly 325hp crank. But today those #'s are nothing especially while most GE or GTE owners boost starting with at least 325 rwhp to have fun. 325hp crank will still get you into the 13's on the 1/4 mile run, but that's if you're an awesome driver, Lol.. I've personally driven a 320hp crank Supra, and it's boring as hell. The m3's will still eat you alive.
