Default New plugs and wires... best choice iv made in a long time

SO today i received and installed my new plugs and wires

I order some Vitek wires (red)
http://www.vitekperformance.com/shop...?itemid=15021#

and some interesting Halo projection wires, Supposedly projects a donut type spark deep into the cylinder.

I got everything plugged in, Started it up and it took about half a second to turn over, suuuper smooth idle at just below 650, Seems to rev faster as well

took her for a spin, Picks up and goes like iv never experienced since i bought her, better throttle response and the exhaust even smells less rich

New then the old plugs

All plugged in and ready to go

Engine bay is a little dirty, washing her up tommarow

The difference you felt was probably more from going from old plugs and wires to new ones over just that style of plug.

I've run Denso iridums or NGK iridums in most of my turbo cars and never felt a huge difference between them and normal NGK coppers, they just last 3x as long and I'm lazy. Worn out spark plugs can have a huge effect on a cars power, on my turbo cars I could always tell when it was time for new plugs because the car would always have a hesitation when going up long hills in boost.

Why do the threads look so much longer on the new plug. Kind of scary.

i like how the oem wires have the year on them so you know how old they are. i replaced my wires and plugs this year and it made a huge difference. i think a lot of kids put their money into mods but this type of basic maintenance will do more for your performance.
