Default 1JZ SC300 won't start, need help!

I have '95 SC300 with a 1JZ swap done at XAT in Tampa. About a year ago I moved to Honolulu. Recently while driving the car just shut off except the generator. Thank goodness I was slowing for a stop sign. Anyways I couldn't get the car to restart. I had it towed to a shop thinking it might be a spark plug problem. Even though they said they wouldn't work on any modified car, they did check it out and said that it was definitely an electrical problem. They said a fuse for the EFI kept blowing. I don't know enough about cars to go in their "hands first". I plan on calling XAT to make sure they used the the Supra ECU. Unfortunately I can't find a shop that is willing to work on the car. I've searched the site for shops in honolulu, but no joy!

Does anyone know of a shop in Hawaii that will work on a 1JZ swap????

Thanks in advance!

I know this is an old thread but i will say this. my car did the exact same thing and it turned out the wiring for the fuel pump was pinched so closely over the fuel tank they got hot from driving and the texas heat and finally they melted together. fuse popped every time i turned the key to try and start it. I thought everyone who comes accross this post in the future may want to know where to start looking. In my case FUEL PUMP WIRES. Happy 1jzing.....
