Default Help Plz.. TRAC light

sorry if this is a repost but i did search... didnt see any but my TRAC light is always on... i read the owners manual and it just says that i should take it do the local lexus dealership... but i prefer to fix it myself but i need help wat this light could mean... or wat should i fix or replace can someone help me and narrow it down? and i also have this weird problem... for some reason my car is soooo slow than its suppose to be.. cause i have 2 sc's and this one is soooo much slower... only think i notice is that it has an exhaust leak... but can that really make that big of a difference? its soooo slow that a stock 2006 civic lx beat me by a car from 20-70

could be a number of things slowing your car down.... more than likely not an exhaust leak...

do your basic maintenance (fluids, wires, plugs) and see where that takes you

as far as the trac light - go get a diagnostic and come back with the codes.

I had the same light come on and took it to the dealer - after hundreds of dollors later it still came on - I brought it to a local auto repair dude and he found there was a wire coming off the alternator touching the engine block causing the trac light to come on! Maybe change the alternator - It's preventive maintenance anyway! : )
