Default SC300 Auto to R154 swap question......

I am trying to find out for sure about the transmission crossmembers. Now i have called multiple LEXUS dealers around chicago land and they tell me that the Auto and Manual crossmembers for the rear of the transmission are identical and have the same part numbers. That would Indicate that i can use the auto crossmember and a Manual mount for this swap. But other people on CL say that they are different. can anyone clerify this for me. i dont know who to belive lol lol. anyone have a side by side comparison maybe? and why would there be only one option at the dealer if there were two different parts lol.

The common knowledge is the Auto/manual crossmember and W58 mount will work. I'm about to do mine but i don't have the mount so i'm gonna have to work with my auto mount or the R154 mount i already have...

I did some searching on supraforums, and the mk4 supra has the same part number for both auto and 5spd versions.....
http://www.supraforums.com/forum/sho...ht=crossmember
since they share the same engine and transmission, is it safe to assume the auto and 5spd sc300's share crossmembers as well?

All SC300 and SC400 cross-members are identical. End of story.

Well, yeah so far it's pretty established that the auto and manual share the crossmember. I just got a new W58 mount just in case but i'm going to try to fit the R154 mount first. By the way, go to Carson Toyota for all your OEM needs, much faster than Elmhurst or Champions <2 weeks for a quote and no response yet from either, took Carson 1 day to get me the part!!!!>..
