I'm looking to save money and I don't really care how much HP I'm pushing because my plan is to make my car into a show car. So I'm not doing any races or drifts.

NA-T pros:
Cheaper than 2jz-tt engine swap
Less stress on passing emission because it original engine.

Cons:
Engine has it's wear and tear, 140k and I think head gasket is goin to be blown cuz there a really light smoke at startup, but it goes away.

Probably have to upgrade transmission because it might not handle the turbo power.

Newer engine
Less engine problems to worry
Comes with upgraded transmission

Cons.
Headaches on passing emission because it be JDM motor not USDM.
Cost alot more to swap

i actually start a thread just like this. Look into 1jzgte as well, there is someone selling a 1jzgte whole front clip for 2650 shipped, and with the ebay 25% off or 250$ off promotion, you can get it for 2400 shipped. doesnt get much better than that. type 1jzgte on ebay. Its going to be hard to get a really good turbo kit and all the nessesary stuff for less than 2400 shipped.
