Default is this hose suposed to be like this?


i saw this under my car today and i was like, wth? why is there a hose but has an open end after an inch in length? what is this for and i feel like taking it off haha

was the car 5sp swap I am thinking its was a trans cooling line, but that if thw auto has been swap out other than that I dont know?

Yes. It's the vent for the charcoal canister.

My SC300 has it and my bro's SC400 and SC300 has it also, so I'm assuming that's suppose to be like that.

my car has it too. im pretty sure thats the water drain for the AC.

its a factory 5spd. and thanks for telling me haha, i was clueless. it should be okay if i take off the rubber hose part right? as the 1 inch rubber seems pointless to me...

I agree, when I first saw mine I thought it was cut off till I followed it back.
