Default C.M. Racing's 1UZ Connecting Rods

Hey Guys as some of you may know, Chris (Chrisman) from C.M. Racing is building a couple TT 1UZ's.
Chris along with some help from a friend of his, have spent some time looking at other products they can try to build for the 1UZ.
For a while now, Chris has been working with a local CNC shop to try and produce a couple different connecting rod.
I think they are trying to build a stronger stock replacement.
A light weight heavy duty Chromoly rod for some series boost application.
And lastly an all aluminum very strong, very light weight rod for some very series power.
I know that Chris is trying to fit a large connecting rod bolt in the rod, 7/8 vs the common 5/8 that comes in a performance rod, or the 3/8 which I believe is standard in the stock rod.

These are things I have heard float around the shop, and don't know what the actual end product will be.
I don't know much else about the rods, I have no idea if they would even be produced.
I'm sure if he hears about a lot of interest that might help.

Figured you might like a look at the prototype.

Light weight Aluminum rods Very Nice option. Would be interesting to see how easy a V8 motor would rev with those. Nice Work.

Is Chris coming on the forum to talk about his rods, or can I call him up to discuss it with him? Do you have his number?

Thanks man,

Just out of curiosity what would be the longevity on the Aluminum rods? I'm "assuming" these are similar to the GRP rods and only for race applications?

The rods aren't completed yet. The picture is of the first rod, and it's only for basic fitment. It's not ready to put in a motor.
The rod it is based off of is capable of holding over 2000 hp on 8 rods, but yes it is race only.
