check engine? could it be belts?
I got on the interstate today and i noticed my check engine light came on. does anyone think it could be caused by any belts or would it be a sensor most likely?

I had my check engine light come on once. The funny thing about it was that it was literally just 2 days after I had gotten the car serviced. The mechanic told me it likely was caused by bad gas or something in the fuel. I've avoided filling up at Mobil stations and it hasn't come back on since . Their gas is pretty crappy anyways. The highest octane they sell is 91. Almost everywhere else is 93.

I always fill up all my vehicles at either a Chevron or a Shell. The Techron additive is good stuff. Plus I've I haven't seen anymore then .1 of a a/f ratio fluctuation on my FD according to my Innovative XD16.
