Question gte auto ecu into 5speed

With the proper tunning would a gte auto ecu work with a 5 speed?
Also how hard is it to find a jdm gte 5speed ecu?
should i just stick with my ecu and reflash?
what are some reflash programs?

i think it works without any tuning. there are threads on this.
some say ECU cuts timing when it thinks you would be shifting in an auto except you arent? something like that cant remember.
if you have a jdm motorset stick with a jdm ecu i think.

my 1jz is a 5 speed with an auto ecu runs fine no problems, when I installed it i had to wire it to the starter relay but that was easy other than that I cant tell a difference at all.
