Chaser and soarer ecu's both use the same plugs for the ecu ,so either will work.

I may be wrong but doesn't the soarer tranny have the goose neck shifter?? That tranny looks like a MkIII tranny to me!

When i first looked at it i thought it was a supra tranny but i looked at my tranny and yea its not a supra transmission ita a soarer. The soarer shifter sit back a litte more The supra shifter sits on the top of the transmission itself.

Check at my pictures and the picture posted of the modified shifter. I don't just have a extended "soarer" shifter housing, the actual SHIFTER itself is goose-necked an additional 1/2". If Any one wants to say im lying, I have 3 mk3 supra R154's sitting outside and this soarer. It looks like its a total of 1.5" longer than a stock transmission with the shifter housing and shifter combined.

The thing people have to realise is the soarer came with Two versions of the R154. The external shifter and the internal shifter.

- Internal shifter Supra R154

- Internal shifter "Early model" soarer R154.

- External shifter "Late model" soarer R154.

^^ its cool. Cause he may have a lexus with a swap, but did he do it himself? He can't even identify a transmission.

I aint upset, I work on supras and these motors quite often, we have a 67mm Mk3, my stockish mk3, a 57trim 7mgte Mk2, and we are doing another 57trim 7mgte mk2 for a buddy currently. A lexus is just an upgrade to my mk3 and it'll be ran with a 71mm ETT billet borg warner. Plus with all of the misinformation i've received from this thread like supras are front sump and I have a modified tranmission and **** who should be havin their panties in a bunch? to uneducated to research the information your tryin to tell people. lol!
