Stored my SC400 now I got problems...
Ha. As the title so well defines my 92 sc400. So here is the issue I have.
I stored my car in November. My battery died during the winter, my buddy recharged it for me, and I dropped it in, started it up, noticed a really rough hestiation. Could this be due to bad gas? I have about 1/4th of a tank left not quite on empty.
I took it for a spin around the block and not only did it vibrate badly, but I had a lot of play in my steering. My car has 130k miles on it and timing belt/waterpump/ps pump were done in 04 at around 105k miles.
Is it possible for my ps pump to go out again this soon?
Any idea on why my car vibrates so badly? I'm personally thinking it's bad gas and I just need to burn out the old stuff and put new stuff in, just don't want to drive it that far due to concerns of the cars drive-ability.
It's so frustrating to store a car that drove perfectly fine and now has problems. Argh.

you should always run the car periodically even while in storage. all the fuel lines and oil lines can get heavy condensation. the first thing i would is oil change, fill it up with gas, check fluid levels, and drive it easy for a bit. this should get everything in its proper place after some time.

that why you dont store cars. they dont like it. cars are made for driving. wet, dry, warm, or cold
put some gas in it. change the oil. make sure your battery terminals are not oxidized or corroded. this can cause the car to idle and run like crap. just fixed this problem on a buddies car this past weekend.
cant comment about the steering feeling loose. usually when the pump is going out the steering get a lot stiffer.

some of us have experienced some problems like that, rough idle where car vibrates violently (only happened once to me) and bucking/jerking while driving sometimes. some people say it's the MAF but there's no real way to know exactly what the cause is in your case. i guess it could be any number of things. i haven't really had any problems lately, though.
