Default SC300 Looking for opinions/2JZGTE in possesion

92 SC300 Auto- Stock

I've got an Aristo 2JZGTE in amazing condition. Came with the TT Auto attached. Replacing oil pans/baffle...yada yada is all in progress. I cannot for the life of me figure out which direction I should go with the harness/ECU/turbo's. I list all three of those because they are all kinda dependent on the other. I initially thought I'd keep the twins, but I'm not sure about the condition of turbos and the downpipe is going to be a nightmare without switching to the whole USDM setup. That brings me to the....complete USDM harness/turbo's/maf/injectors swap. A good amount of money that would lead me down the "for that money, let's just go single and standalone". That sounds great until you read the technicalities of AEM controlling the Auto-shift points. It works....but it is NOT like the OEM trans control. I'm not afraid of spending money that makes sense, but I'd love to hear some opinions.

Well spent money is not the issue. I just don't want to start chunking money at the swap without some thought. About 60 percent of my decision not to just go NA-T was the daily driver aspect. I'm not going to drill the oil return with the engine on and I wanted to be able to build up the engine at my own pace.

SC300fives-Sorry I need to update my profile. Was living close to Fresno, but just moved to Mississippi.

The tranny limits your hp at ~450. Go small single with 550cc usdm injectors/rail on the JDM ecu and harness that is still MAP, install a MKIII resistor pack, get an safc. Upgrade later.
