Question Question with 92 SC400. opinions?

Hi all,

2 daysago i bought a 92 sc400. the engine is good even with 140k it, however, i just discovered a issue that has been bothering me. when i shift into reverse and go back very slowley and hit the break slowely, it feels like there is a bit of a knock, kinda like the engine or tranny mount is lose or something. when i go slow forward and break it dosnt do that and stops fine. anyone have any possible answers for it?
Thanks all,

It could be the brake calipers, if I remember correctly the pads shift when going forward and then backward. I used to have a little clunk before I upgraded.

But at the same time if you haven't replaced the engine/transmission mounts it makes a world of a difference to do those.

Got a break inspection done today and they said they looked great.
heres something new i realied tho, i told my wife to drive back a forth a bit and realized that when she did drive in reverse and Hit the breaks the front wheels kinda jerked. Now im thinking it could be the Control arms maybe?!
