Default seat belts

i have 99 sc seatbeltsin black but cant get them to work in my 92sc300 is something different? please help/

they are different. the older ones are regular type that use the motion of the passenger moving forward via inertia to lock them up. the never seat belts are charge activated and triggered by the ecu that senses the collision and also sets off the airbags.

i never tried to do the swap so im not sure which parts are interchangeable and which are not. i assume the belt clip buckle is the same and the belt roll-up mechanism itself is different.

does it not bolt up to the car or it doesnt plug in?

i also have this problem from a 96 black seat belt. the passenger seatbelt will not fit without cutting of the bracket. i am just riding without seatbelts also, i have a problem with the drivers side seatbelt going on lock mode and cannot get it to release.

bumping an old thread... i have the same problem as rwdpwr... my belt doesnt retract after i pull it out

Also Bumping an old thread....Also has Anyone try some aftermarket 3 point universal seatbelts from like jc whitney or summit racing?
