Default Removed the EGR and all the vacuum lines

but I have a gray plug (I think it's a 2 wire) that is loose in that area and I can't figure out where it goes. Does anybody have a clue what the gray plug plugs into? There is a blue plug in the blue vacuum solenoid, I left it in place plugged in. There is a brown plug in the brown vacuum solenoid, I left it plugged in. But the short gray harness and plug I didn't remove from anything and can't find anything to plug it into. It's directly under where the EGR was and toward the rear of where the vacuum canister was, directly above the starter. There is a sending unit in the side of the block but it has a plug on it. It's not the oil level switch (plug is larger than it), it's not the power steering motor/valve, it's not the a/c clutch (further back than those 2).
