Best All Aluminum Radiator for SC300
 

I did a search and didnt really come up with a difinitive answer. I'm looking for an all aluminum radiator for a 5speed SC300. Please give me some ideas or experiences.

Do a search, you can fit a Supra one with some spacers.

I wouldnt consider Koyo the best.
What are you doing with your car? Are you driving it at the track or street. Look into PWR if you want the best overall cooling.
I would also consider Fluidyne.

Mostly street, but some track time. It's going to be a weekend car. I read an old post that some of the Supra TT aftermarket radiators will fit, but some modifications have to be made to the radiator. I am looking for one more like fluidyne, but I dont know exactly what has to be modified for it to fit into the SC.

Go with the PWR. Just need to modify the top brackets that hold it in place and trim the battery tray a bit. About the same price as the Fluidyne but thicker and more capacity.

I would say Koyo is the best for the money... I've got one in my Sc - works perfectly. It might not be QUITE as good as the PWR or the Fluidyne, but the best price I saw for those was right around $500-ish, and I got the Koyo for $300 on my doorstep.

ive sold a lot of koyo's and fluidynes in the past and i must say i preffer fluidyne but by far the best radiator ive ever sold/used/dealt with is Griffin radiators absolute bar none the best out there

I got a koyo and its rediculous. Car runs cold ALL the time. Too cold actually so i might need to upgrade the fans to electrical fans so it isnt always on

Fluidyne if you want a quick and easy install.

Koyo if you really want something that works and keeps coolant temps down. PWR seems to be another good option.

they both are really good, but if plan on keeping the SC stock, it will over cool the motor which will hender performance

the koyo was cake to install...didnt need to modify the battery box and what not, i dunno wtf people are hacking the battery box for. It was a straight drop in, and even the rubber mounts on the bottom fit perfectly. only thing needed was to bang a little of the bottom support and it was touching the radiator making it not sit level. So i just used a mallet and a wrench and bent it slightly downward, problem fixed. Koyo is cake to install so id go fir that.

BTW, this koyo was for the supra.

Thanks for the tips and suggestions. My SC is definitely not staying stock, so I think I may go with the PWR. A couple of reasons being that I read on an old post that a member had no problems with installation, and another reason being that the summers have been damn hot with high humidity the past couple of years, so I know this will do the job. Thanks for your help again.
