O/D off light blinks...but only in diagnosis mode

Default O/D off light blinks...but only in diagnosis mode
I can't turn my o/d off...it doesn't do anything. So when I jumped the e1 and te1 ports to check a CEL I noticed o/d off blinking rapidly. The o/d off light never even comes on while the cars running...but in DIAG it blinks rapidly but w/ no pattern.

Car goes into O/D OK...dunno what's up.

Was the O/D switch on or off when you ran diags??

it was set so that O/D was on (button pressed in)
