sc300 code CMP No. 1?

Default sc300 code CMP No. 1?

my check engine light came on i pulled a code #17, many sites stated that its a CMP No. 1, does that mean something with the camshaft? how serious is this and what needs to be fix is the car still drivable for now?

I think it is the camshaft position sensor but I am not for sure...
