Default Automatic shifter help

well the other day i was in a very unhappy mood and i slamed my car into part and the plastic shifter handle broke up inside the rubber caseing, i got one from a junkyard today but the spring mechanisim for the unlock to change gears is broke is there any way to swap parts between shifters?
